"It is quite difficult to listen to someone who is figuratively yelling at everyone to start living outside of the comfort zone. Why? Well, I guess one of the reasons is that if a person is used to suggest to others that one has to start living outside of the comfort zone, then the person doing the suggesting isn't doing what they're preaching. It is easier for us to learn from a practicing role model, words lose most of it's power when not backed with reality and example. But to give insight - if a person is trying to convince others to start living a certain way, they might be subconsciously and by a physical act trying to influence themselves into realizing the importance of a behaviour or trying to push themselves to start doing it."
